This little site is my outlet to express opinion, and hopefully provide some practical advice/insight, related to the fields of Information Security and Privacy. In my current role, I serve as a manager of strategic security solutions for a large wireless carrier.
My background is in application development, identity management, market research, philosophy, and ethics. I believe that, to be successful, information security practitioners and thought leaders need to approach the field in a holistic manner.
Security should not be approached as a technology issue; rather, security can only be achieved by leveraging innovative, strategic thinking in a collaborative manner, for the purpose of providing reasonable protection of information assets through the implementation of processes, procedures, personnel, techniques, and supporting technologies which serve to enhance the Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability, Possession, Authenticity, and Utility of corporate, employee, and stakeholder information.
